An evening of frivolity and philanthropy

Since 1990, the Mississippi Press Association has roasted Mississippi journalists, celebrities and politicians in good humor as a benefit for the Mississippi Press Foundation. The Foundation Roast has become a much-anticipated evening of frivolity and fundraising to support MPF's philanthropic endeavors.

This year's honoree is Mississippi Commissioner of Insurance Mike Chaney, a longtime supporter of the Mississippi Press Foundation.

Our roastmaster is Marshall Ramsey of the University of Jordan Center for Journalism Advocacy and Innovation at Ole Miss, a past honoree of the event.
